In my ChatGPT Research, I explore issues relating to how this emerging technology may impact society at large, and libraries, educational institutions, and developing economies in particular. In my AI for Global Development work, you can see research pertaining to how we can tackle issues with AI as a broad and dynamic technology, inclusive of generative AI technologies like ChatGPT, but also further applications of AI and automation. In my Information Privacy and Cybersecurity work, I explore how to improve the online well-being of the public by protecting them from threats of censorship and theft of data within the rapidly evolving global society. I also seek to involve members of unrepresented populations within this emergent area of research and practice.

In my Scholarly Publishing - Growth and Ethics work, you will find research relating to how emerging issues with large scholarly indices, AI tools, and transforming ethics and law, impact the world of scholarly publishing. Are publishing ethics lagging in the modern day? Will new tools make publishing easier? Of higher quality? Is scholarly publishing becoming more inclusive of a variety of ethnicities, gender identities, geographic locations and nationalities? In this section, these issues and more are explored.
